The "SOM-A350" is a computer-on-module that complies with the COM-HPC standard. It is equipped with the 14th generation Intel Core Ultra processor (Code Name: Meteor Lake-U/H), which offers a 24% increase in CPU processing performance compared to the 13th generation, and a 90% improvement in image processing performance thanks to the latest Xe LPG graphics. Additionally, it features Intel's first AI engine, the NPU (Neural Processing Unit), which enhances AI computation speed while also achieving power efficiency and energy savings, reducing reliance on external graphics cards. It also supports high-speed I/O such as PCI Express Gen4, 2.5G LAN, and USB 4.0. Furthermore, it is compatible with PCI Express Gen5, making it effective in AI image processing devices used in medical imaging systems, factory automation systems, and transportation systems that require high-performance GPU cards and faster NVMe SSDs.
